All about Me and my journey.
Hi and welcome to my page!
My name is Sarah Bibby, I have had a life long love affair with horses. My mum remembers me as a 3 year old child longingly watching the horse pass our house, leaving fingerprints on the living room window, and soon the weekly lessons turned in to a real obsession, getting my first pony at the age of nine. I have fond memories of competing at various levels with Nero, Sonny, Bonny and Boy. I had a time with out horse ownership while my children were young but continued to ride, help at a local equine charity and eventually part loaning Harvey.
Harvey was gifted to me when my husbands work brought us to Norway in 2014. Horse, dog and husband and I settled in quickly and I have made some wonderful like minded horsey friends.
At the ripe old age of 28 in March 2022 Harvey passed away, there is not a day that goes by when I don’t miss him. To fill the void I decided to train in the therapies I always loved lavishing on him. My friends have been a great support during my studies.
Qualifications
In May 2022, I took the level 1 Reiki course with Jo Rose. Soon after, I completed my level 1 acupressure with Jo and Lucy Yeoman. I also completed an online light therapy course hosted by Jo. After that, I followed up the acupressure with an online course with Tallgrass.
I ordered The Masterson Method® books and DVD and completed the online training. In July 2022, I attended the weekend seminar and the advanced 5-day course. It was quite a roller-coaster! I signed up to do the 3 blocks field work to become a certified practitioner. I am at the end of block 2 and have now started block 3. I am now treating horses as an advanced student.
The treatment on the horses has been very rewarding. Although the seemingly endless write-ups for the case studies, the course work, and the lengthy anatomy study that are required to complete the blocks have not been easy for me as a dyslexic individual! But that has made it all the more rewarding.
I am still that 3 year old child with my nose at the window when a horse goes past my house and I get a buzz with every horse I treat.
